MK Illumination light up the Purple Apples!

Last Thursday¹s Purple Apples were full of glitz and glamour as the MK Illumination management team celebrated with the winners to mark their achievements within the real estate sector.

This year was Mk Illuminations first as the principal sponsor of the event as they lit up the Brewery London with bespoke decorations that captivated the guests.  The life size illuminated tree and giant sparkling baubles generated numerous pictures spread over social media and showcased the vast array of festive decorations the company provides to the industry.

The evening was attended by over 450 guests who enjoyed a delicious dinner and awards ceremony hosted by celebrity presenter Claudia Winkleman.

The highlight of the evening was the MK Illumination Santa Claus throne. The photo competition drew attention from 135 attendees which had their photos taken on the throne.

We have reacted positively to being assigned the Fuzzwire contracts by expanding our in-house team. The arrivals include the addition of 10 individuals in key management roles and a further 22 employees across all areas of design and production.

The appointment of former Fuzzwire employees in several of these key roles means we now have unrivalled industry experience of the UK market. The UK team is also able to leverage the extensive experience and knowledge of the international MK Illumination network, making us well positioned to deliver exceptional service and successful concepts time and time again for our clients.

This year our dedicated team of designers will also be working closely with our Group Design Director Georg Oehler, who is internationally renowned for his ability to translate profound stories into creative design concepts.  Georg’s flair for expressing stories through creative design, combined with the skills and collective experience of our professional team, means we can turn the most innovative ideas into eye-catching displays that deliver a narrative with emotion and engage with audiences through the careful use of lighting and interactive elements.

This year we have not only strengthened our highly skilled team, but expanded our portfolio, most notably in the UK, where we have been assigned over 100 new contracts, including many of the country’s highest profile shopping centres, following the closure of Fuzzwire last Christmas.
