Local business, global expertise: MK Illumination Switzerland
Since its foundation in 2002, MK Illumination Switzerland has implemented numerous decorative lighting projects. These include the iconic “lighthouse project” in Sihlcity Shopping Centre, the unique sun motifs in the alleys of St. Moritz and the outstanding illuminations at Zurich Airport. All MK’s light displays are based on high quality light products with only patented LEDs, that stand out for their minimal loss of luminosity, ever used in the displays. For this reason, many Swiss wholesalers have been buying products from MK Illumination for a number of years. With its 28 subsidiaries and distributors, the geographical spread of MK Illumination Handels GmbH covers almost the whole globe. A strong philosophy lies behind this strategy: proximity to customers. These not only benefit from the expertise of a globally operating company, but also from the sensitivity of the local branch towards local cultures and conditions.
